Thai combination: Hands to set up a kick

 

 

1. Fighters square off

 

 2. Lead jab

 

 3. Right cross

This is a basic combination with the hands used to set up a kick aimed at the mid-section. The left hand is used to parry any counter attack from your opponent during the kick execution.

1. Adam (red shorts) and Richard (black shorts) square off in the technical range.

2. Richard steps forward and slightly over with the lead hand jab thrown.

3. Planting the rear foot Richard throws the right cross.

4. Adam responds with a lead jab which is parried by Richard as his round kick strikes.
