Welcome to my website for the
1947 Rover 12 Tourer. My name is Martin Hooper and I live
in Liss, UK.
In 1947, in a rare departure from the traditional saloon cars,
Rover produced 200 open tourers. This site is dedicated to
those cars, and in particular to the one that I owned until recently,
pictured right. If you are a past or present owner of a 12 Tourer,
I would be very pleased to hear from you.
I have tried to make this site easy to use, informative, and enjoyable.
The first version of the site contains a limited amount of information.
I will be adding more from time to time. If you have
any suggestions for improving it or if I have broken any links I
would be pleased to hear from you.
I also owned another Rover, a 1984 3500 Vanden Plas EFi - which
has a page of its own.
