Took a run of about 40 miles to Cuckfield in Sussex to watch the annual London to Brighton veteran car run. Carburrettor icing occurred in the first few minutes, but soon cleared as the engine warmed up. The London to Brighton run is open officially to cars made before 1st Jan 1905. But lots of other cars join in for fun. The highlight for me was the 1904 Rover 8 - see picture. |
